Customer Care Technical Support

Job Description:  

JCR Systems is a fast growing MSP (Managed Service Provider) that sells and supports exciting new state-of-the-art Point of Sale and Inventory Control Systems. Our clients include high end, high profile multi-unit restaurants and retail stores as well as single owner type businesses.  Our mission is to provide our clients exciting new POS technology and managed services to make their businesses become more efficient and profitable.  We currently have a position available in our Customer Care Technical Support Department. Your duties will include setting up, installing, training and supporting our client's exciting new Point of Sale Systems running on Apple iPads or Microsoft Operating Systems via on-site visits or remote access.  We are looking for an energetic, highly reliable, intelligent person who is well organized and can communicate well with our clients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills in a Windows and IOS network environment.


Responsibilities: 
Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by our clients
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Record events and problems and their resolution into our CRM System
Follow-up and update customer status and information
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Follow and/or document IT processes & procedures
Identify and suggest possible improvements on existing procedures
Other duties may be added and/or assigned as needed


Technical Requirements:
Proficient in supporting Windows 10
Troubleshooting devices in an enterprise domain network
PC Imaging
TCP/IP, Networking, VPN and Wireless technologies


Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation to travel to customer sites (mileage reimbursed)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Capability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in fast paced, high stress environment with minimal direction
Ability to work confidently and securely with sensitive / confidential data
Ability to problem solve and learn quickly
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Proven experience in the field
Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM plus some night and weekends
Available for on call duties for extra pay


Education:
High School Diploma required
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in computer studies and technologies or graduation from a trade school specializing in IT desktop support or a combination of formal education and experience.
Experience supporting POS Systems such as NCR Aloha, Micros, Catapult, Mobilebytes, Heartland Restaurant POS, Sam4s etc. are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour

Micros, Toast, Aloha, Positouch (ex) Outside Sales Reps

Our clients include high end, high profile multi-unit restaurants and retail stores as well as single owner type businesses.  Our mission is to provide our clients exciting new POS technology and managed services to make their businesses become more efficient and profitable.  We currently have a position available in our Central Florida and Tampa Area Sales Division. Your duties will include calling on restaurants to offer our exciting new Heartland Restaurant Point of Sale System running on Apple iPads. 

 

If you are a Seasoned POS Sales Professional with experience selling Toast, Micros, Aloha, Positouch, Digital Dining, etc. and are tired of losing deals, then this is the job for you! Our new Heartland Restaurant POS offers advanced features such as Cloud Management, Online Ordering, Tableside Ordering, Self-Order Kiosks, Guest Engagement App, Loyalty Rewards, Scan to Pay, Skip the Line, etc., and practically sells itself. 

We are looking for an energetic, highly reliable, intelligent person who is well organized and can communicate well with prospective clients and has the ability to close deals. Most of our customers buy 10 or more terminals for each restaurant location.

Job Type:

Full-time

Salary, Commission and Travel Stipend run between $50,000 - $150,000 or more. 

 

Experience:
Experience selling POS Systems such as Toast, Positouch, NCR Aloha, Micros, Dinerware, or other similar Hospitality POS Systems a must.

 

Education:
Associates Degree preferred but not required

 

License:
Driver’s License (Required)
