Internet Down?

No Problem

Running your establishment with cloud server technology is easier and less expensive but when the internet or credit card processor goes down, what happens next depends on which Cloud Managed POS System you put your faith and trust in

Not all Cloud Managed POS Systems are designed with failsafe redundancy. Some of these systems cause major stress to your staff and guests in these scenarios.

Find out why Heartland Restaurant's built in POS Failsafe Redundancy helps keep stress down when something happens.

Internet or Processor Down?

Failsafe Redundancy Saves the Day

Automatic Spooled Tokens

When the internet goes down, Heartland Restaurant POS System can automatically switch over to offline processing without any user intervention. Using tokenization technology, Heartland Restaurant captures and retains the token from each transaction.

When the internet is back on line, those transactions are then authorized as card present transactions so that you do not experience any downgraded transaction fees.

Reliable Local Area Network (LAN)

Using relaible Apple iPad devices and the reliable Local Area Network (LAN) is the best design for efficiency and stability in a point of sale system your business will be relying on.

Heartland Restaurant POS does not rely on the internet to update devices with transactional data.

Hard Wired and Wireless Devices

Heartland Restaurant pos stations can be hard wired to the network switch using standard cat5 cabling or can connect to commercial grade wireless access points providing strong connectivity everywhere it's needed, indoor and outdoor, for tableside ordering and line busting.

Access All Tickets from All Devices

Some cloud managed pos systems are pooly designed with no ability to use a Local Area Network (LAN) to share ticket transactions and rely on the internet to update orders to all devices.  For this reason, when the interent is down tickets on those systems are not accessable on all of the devices, causing major stress to your staff and guests as your operation's speed of service is negatively impacted.

Checking out staff at the end of the shift becomes a management nightmare.

Heartland Restaurant was well designed to use the LAN for full system redundancy. When the internet is down, the POS system continues to work using the LAN.

KDS Continues to Receive Orders

Some cloud managed pos systems are poorly designed with no ability to send orders to the kitchen display monitors when the internwet is down.

This causes stress to your kitchen staff when something happens to the internet.

Heartland Restaurant was well designed to use the LAN for full system redundancy. When the internet is down, the POS system continues to send orders to the Kitchen Displays.

No Clunky Fileserver to Maintain

Your office computer may not be old now, but sooner than later it will be and what happens when something happens?

Don't get caught up in old technology having to deal with the security risks with remote access and credit card batch settlement issues when something happens to a required in store fileserver.

Heartland Restaurant sets you free to manage your stores anywhere, anytime from any device.
